I am buying a 1983 baja 16 foot with a 115 johnson in it.
My questions are:
how fast will it go
is that a decent starter wake board boat
what kind of wake will it put out
i really just want to know how powerful it is, and if its decent for wake boardin

It is in good condition and the seller says its a strong boat that will throw 200 pound men off of a tube. Please let me know ANY INFORMATION that you have at all.

My best friend has a 16' Baja with a 140 Merc on the back. It moves pretty good, but he has some issues with the motor preventing it from doing better. Baja is a heavy solid boat for what it is. I've never wake-boarded, but I assume you want a big wake - this probably isn't the best choice. We use his for tubing and skiing every year though.

Should run around 60 and no it's not going to make a good wake for boarding.
