Problem is that the trim drops several inches an hour, whether in the water or on dry land. I would like to do a fluid flush for three reasons. One is to give me the opportunity to check the o-rings on the preasure relief valve, two is flush out any garbage that may be in the system, and three is to start over with fresh fluid.

I can not remove the pressure relief valve though. I turn the knob all the way counterclocwise, but there is not any possible way that the valve can come out due to a metal flange on the valve that is between the pump unit and the 1/4" heavy duty bracket that the whole pump assembly is attached to. No way it's coming out.

I called a mechanic and he said there is a clip somewhere on the valve that I need to remove for the valve to come out, but the valve is is one solid piece with the flange I spoke about earlier that makes it impossible to remove the pressure relief valve.

Can anyone help?
