Wouldn't get on plane.
Cleaned a very dirty Screen on the high pressure fuel pump in the VST.

Then,
Would run full throttle for only several seconds or
would run longer periods if the RPM's remained below 3500 or so.
at lower RPM's would run all day. Higher RPM,s would cut off.
But ReStart and continue.

Thanks for everyone help on the Fuel pressure readings!

Fuel pressure gauge indicated the pressure would fluctuate higher as the throttle was raised.

Replaced the Fuel pressure regulator today,
Pressure now holds steady as the throttle is reved.
I'll drop it in the water tomorrow for a test run.

Still cuts of after running a few miles at > 3700rpms.
Parked in the driveway and put the pressure gauge on, Pressure still holding.

any thoughts?

did you clean the screen on the pressure regulator?
also, since you have had trash in the fuel, you may need to clean the screens on each individual fuel injector.

do you ever have a lean sneeze condition with your motor? does it ever sneeze or cough?
