Can anybody please tell me what size and shape of hole should be where (as you can see in the picture) I have a jagged corroded aperture.
I would like to try and partially close it using Devcon filler but I am not sure what size of hole to leave (if any)
The first of my photos shows where my poppet valve and thermostat is housed and the last photo shows the undamaged poppet valve water entry. The other two pictures show the bit that needs attention!
Any observations would be appreciated.
