1984 150 Mariner serial # ?

I have a 1984 150 Mariner and I can't seen to find the serial # on the powerhead. I have it on the outdrive 6520375 but I can not find the plate on the top. Here are the #'s I have found A156832 and 8588346. Does anyone knkow if one of these is it? Thanks in advance

If the outdrive means the tilt bracket that number is for a 1984, the A156832 if on the powerhead means that is got a powerhead from a 1985 someone changed it over the years. The other number I don't know, it is difficult to trace this stuff down without a better description of were the numbers are found on the engine.

I appreciate your help. the A156862 was on the top of the powerhead on a silver plate. I had a buddy looking with me and he thought that wasn't it (I won't listen to him anymore). The other # was stamped into the block under the #3 plug.
