Default Model ID of 16' Alumacraft (pics)

Can anyone identify the model of the 16' Alumacraft in the attached pictures?

Owner says mid 70s.

It is a bit pointier in the bow than F and R models.

There is much less curvature in the transition from side to transom than F and R models, but still some rounding.

The pictures do not show it, but it has a small splash tray across the transom.

Regardless of the model designation, is it likely to handle as well and be as durable as the F and R models, or was this model a more recent, but inferior design?

It looks very much like the Yukon model that appeared in the early 60's and continued for a while. I have no catalogs beyond 1963...but the Yukon was in that catalog and could handle up to 60hp. This compares to 40 hp for the 16 foot Model K. If it is that model from the early 60's it is described, at least, as a big water boat. Looks very stout....It is very common for boat owners to be off by several years in aging their own boat! Others would have a feel for the relative quality/integrity of later AlumaCrafts. Check the cast transom support underneath the Aqueduct transom...it should have a stamped in letter and number that the Factory might be able to use to place the model/year. Good luck.

I'd be interested what model this boat is also. My boat is the same one.
Mine clearly has an F on the plate, but the rest rubbed off.
Nice boat! Love this old thing.

I have the numbers 156 stamped into the transom brace, and asked Alumacraft about this, they said that it was manufactured in 1948, but also they sent me a snapshot of the standard model F, my boat is shaped completely different and could be the twin of the boat in this picture.
I'll post pictures of boat, and alumacraft model F Jpg soon.
