1993 Merc 200EFI Beeper and power loss

My 93 Merc 200EFI will not go on plane. If I try to take off one of the engine alarms go off and it will not let the motor go to full RPM. If I back off the power and go at a trolling speed the alarm stops and you could run the motor this way all day. Any Idea's?
