Ok, I am gonna have to replace head gaskets on my 81 Evinrude 115. Did a compression check and they were 90,90,110,60. Noticed the head gasket leak on left side. Going to replace both anyways. I am ordering the two gaskets from iboats here, just want to make sure that #18-2956 is the right gaskets, and can I get the new bolts from here also?. Would like to know torque specs on heads and the correct way to tighten them down. Will I have to get anything done to the heads? I heard all I would have to do is take them off and clean off the old gasket and put the new ones on. Not sure if I need them take to a machine shop or anything so I thought I would ask the pros ( YOU ) Thanks for your help in advance! You all have been VERY Helpfull from other questions!!
