I just acquired an old 15hp Chrysler, and am trying to inspect/replace the impeller. There is no water coming out of the "pee hole" which I assume are two holes angled downward near the top of the back of the motor leg (?). I have removed the 4 bolts holding the upper end of the lower unit to the engine. The lower unit will drop about 1/2" and stop. Is there more disassembly required to drop it completely?
