Long time listener, first time caller. I've got a 1988 21' Crownline bowrider with soft spots in the floor. I'm looking for information on the floor support below deck. This boat just sits up higher than any of the ones I've seen posted here so I thought i'd see about any information before I tear into it (at least it'll keep me off the streets at night). The search terms I tried didn't give up much, so any directions or advice is greatly appreciated.

There's no real way to know what's under there, designs change fequently, about the only way to find out is start pulling stuff out. I don't think you'll find it to be too much different than most other boats though, just wood and glass.

its not too uncommon to find that similar boats weren't built identical too.

you'll probably just have taller stringers.
