88 yamaha 175 carb settings?

what are the factory settings for the carbs on this motor?

pilot screw setting from lightly seated is 1 1/8turns out on the port and 1 5/8 on the stbd.
remember this pilot screw is NOT an air fuel mixture screw.
all it does is allow more or less of the air/fuel that the pilot air jet and the pilot fuel jet allow.
sounds like you are in need of carb and fuel pump maint.
very simple but a pic of the carb would help.
only other "setting" would be float level and the fuel bowl must be off and the carb inverted to check/set that.
