The new Dodge Challenger just looks freakin awesome.

Wish I could get one.

New Camaro will be out in a year or so and also looks great.

Detroit finally made a new muscle car that should have strong sales.

Problem is, they will probably become a victim of the economy.

I just saw one last week. Looks awesome. Really captured the look of a true muscle car.

Same here.

Having driven a new Challenger, they are overfed pigs and feel slow. And that was an SRT8 with the 6.1 Hemi.

We have a dealer here that has one and everytime I go by someone is kicking the tires but its been there for over four months.
I`ve never even stopped cuz I`m in love with my diesel.

I got to drive the concept car at Dover Speedway last year.
I was doing some PR stuff for Dodge..
I liked it..tons of tire smoking power and a 6 speed manual tranny.
Not sure if the production models are now tuned down a bit...

I would disagree with the overstuffed pig remark as a owner of a 5.7 hemi in a 300, the 300 is ever bit as fast as my 67 Dodge R/T and the 6.1 are quite a bit quicker so the car that skargo mentioned must have been big time sick.

I tend to agree, I'm just glad that they're trying to at least mimic the look of a muscle cars of that era with a new fit/finish.

If I had the chance (read, if I had the $$$) I'd look for a nice 69 GTO Judge

Very reminiscent of the original. Wonder if it is available in lime greena nd plum purple like the originals.

I hope the car makers continue this trend.

You mean 5.7 hemi, right?

It was NOT sick, I said it FELT slow

I've driven more than one.

My only problem is, they dont have a soul of a muscle car.

You know, sometimes they would run like stink, other times, you wonder if someone swapped in a four banger. Will it start this morning? What hop up part can I add this weekend?

But still, a really nice freshing of a beautiful car.
