I have been looking for a 115HP motor for my toon. Well after the long waiting I believe I found exactly what I am looking for. I can not for the life of me remember what size the leg was. I think it was 20inch, the new motor is coming off of an bass boat so I was wondering how to tell the person selling to measure the length of his motor. Anyone have a way to measure ...you know like measure from bottom of the transom plate to the top of the cavitation plate? Any help would be appreciatted.

Measure from the antiventilation plate (the plate just above the prop) to the top of the transom mount (where the engine would sit if you set it full down on the transom). 15 inch = short shaft, 20 = long shaft, 25 = extra long shaft.
