Ijust bought a used boat, and I would like some info.
I just purchased a used 2000 21' Aquasport 215 osprey dual console, with a 200 evinrude 2 stroke outboard. I bought It from a dealer, and I paid $15,000. with a trailer. It seems to be in excellent condition. I would like a little info.
1) Anyone know where I can find the owners manuals (Boat & Motor)?
2) How Is the boat in your opinion? Good? Bad?
3) It came w1ith a depth finder, and radio. I would like to know what type of
fish finder would be good to get?
4) I have an old Eagle ultra III portable fish finder that I was
using on a row boat In a local reservoir. Is there a power cable available
for this so I can hook It up permanently to the Aquasport? Would it be
worth It, or should I just buy a new one?
Just a little more info, I'll be using the boat mainly on the GREAT SACANDAGA LAKE In New York.

Not sure on the boat, but on your question regarding the fish finder. I would just by a new one. The portable ones are not near as good as the built in systems. You can get a Humminbird 717 fishfinder last years model, for less than $150. It is black and white, but has good resolution and can mount either on the transom or in the hull. This is a nice unit, because you can run the different modules on it and plug in a handheld GPS for GPS capability. It also has modules for cannon downriggers, weather, and networking. You can also look at Lowrance, Garmin, etc. . . It really just comes down to preference.
