hi guy.

i just recently bought a 14.5' fiberglass caribean with an old johnson 60 hp V4motor off a mate. and was wonder if there was any way of telling if it pumping enough water, it spray a small amount out of the rear pipe. my mate wasn't sure either.

the motor been well looked after, run greats

any infomation or a link to an exist post would be great.

We need to know the model and year to tell you where to look to check the water pump. An OMC/Johnson should have the model/serial number on a metal plate at the top of the transom clamp, just under the front of the motor cowl/cover.
