does anyone know the approximate weight of a complete merc inline 6, would like to get approx weight so i know what i need to lift it, thanks to all who replied

Don't weigh in at more than 500 pounds.

Chain hoist rated for that will do.

i wrote down, from somewhere i read it. 440 lbs.... don't know if that included manifold or not.... wish i'd a took better notes from where ever i read it at...

Small hoe will do it no problem.

You lift it with the elbow wrapped with a old fan belt.

And the eye of course.
