I've used all the web sites and can't find any info on my engine. I called Mercury and they have said the numbers don't match anything they have. The serial plate is perfectly legible. The numbers are (40BE in top right corner), 676 BL 402168. The first half, 676B is printed/painted on tag, the rest is stamped into the tag. I just want to be able to call for parts and get things on order. The info is not showing up anywhere. I have photos if someone can tell me how to post them. Can someone help me get this figured out so I can get parts ordered?
