How can I check the fluid level on my '89 90hp 2 stroke yamaha. I see some screws that look like they ought to be checked but they won't budge. I have a slow leak coming from the port trim cylinder.

Tilt your motor up and ensure it is locked in. in front of the fluid resevour you will find a bolt ( 4 sided not sure what the tech name is) remove this bolt and fill.
