I was cleaning my boat in my driveway which is on a slope, I then moved it to the road so it was on a flat surface again and the next day there was a puddle of oil on the road, looked and smelt like engine oil but cant see where its leaking from, when i pulled it back up driveway to look at it was leaking 2 stroke from the leg. Any thoughts on what might be happening, i just bought boat and engine and boat look to be in great condition.

It helps to post the yr and model of your engine.
Is it VRO (not that it matters) , was it run recently?
oil exhausts thru the prop on many of them and residual exh oil is normal, they are designed ( the older 2 strokes) to pass a very small amount of oil because it has a cooling effect, newer 2 strokes run a lot cleaner and pass less oil.

That oil was probably pooled in the prop shaft area and drained out when the angle changed.

"when i pulled it back up driveway to look at it was leaking 2 stroke from the leg. "

what does this mean "it was leaking 2 stroke" you mean oil, unburnt fresh 2 stroke oil?

Its not unknown to have fuel spill out of the carbs when tilted or if you flooded the engine, then it drains down, the gas evaporates and theres just oil left. Happens with mine when I'm playing around with the engine, I mop it up.

If its new to you then you might want to go through it, clean it up, check everything over. When I got mine this yr (a 1994 j150) I removed and cleaned all grounds starting from battery. Checked compression, spark test and rebuilt carbs. Remove prop, check for fishing line.
