Any Reason An In-line Filter Wouldnt Work On This? Or Should I Really Spend The $33+ Bucks On The Housing Set? My Assembly Has A Hairline Crack In It.
Thanks

As long as the aftermarket filter does not filter the oil out, no reason at all not to use it except one... Anytime you go aftermarket you devalue your outboard( in theory). It puts doubt in the minds of people as to where else you may have cut corners.

Re: M18c Fuel Filter Assembly

I noticed when looking on the iboats site for this part, it is labeld for a much larger motor, is that a blanket parts description, or is it in fact the wrong part number or bad picture? My part is similar but different.
Thanks

Re: M18c Fuel Filter Assembly

The picture is right....All but one of their filters look the same. The part number though is for a larger engine, as they indicate. It has a different element inside. You need the one at the link below:

I'm sure that if you ask iboats they can supply you with this one instead.
