Using Yamaha Parts Catalog?

I want to buy some parts for my 2008 F90 but there are different part numbers depending on serial number. I assume that when using the catalog I select the serial number that is closest but LOWER than my number - is that correct?

Example:
Catalog has the following choices
F90TLR61P - 1021936
F90TLR61P - 1028830

My number is in between these two so I select 1021936?

Serial numbers are sequential so the answer to your question is yes.
