I put my boat in a shop to get it fixed from not running right and when I got it back it was in worst shape than it was when I put it in there. I fixed the motor myself but now it is not charging the battery when it is running. When I got the boat back I found a wire that had overheated and blistered the insulation and blown the fuse. I do not know how to check the charging system to find out what other parts may have been damaged. I am afraid to carry the boat back to the shop because I am afraid they will mess up more stuff on it. Can someone tell me how to check the chargeing system to determine what part is bad?
