Fuel Flow Question ????

My 90 Hp 4 Stroke Mercury (2000) runs great at slow RPMs. When I accelerate to wide open throttle it runs great for about 30-45 seconds then begins to cut out. When I pump the bulb the motor catches up and runs great for another 30 -35 seconds. Then the same thing. At lower RPMs (3500) everything is good. I have looked over all the fuel line connections and changed the inline filter. Sounds to me like I may have a pressure leak somewhere. Where should I go from here?

Thanks....

Might want to look at your fuel pump or for air leaks either would cause the same problem. You did not say if it was a carbed motor or efi if it is an efi. I would look at the low pressure pump first.

...should be carbureted.
I concur...classic fuel pump symptoms.
Check your primer bulb too - is it old? any cracks in it?

When was the last time you checked/changed you fuel/water seperation filter? If they are really dirty or almost full of water, you will also get those symptons.
