My 70HP Evinrude gives a false alarm to indicate overheat and goes into slow mode. Replaced impeller, water pump and temp sensor - still get alarm.
Any ideas to help??
I guess the really obvious question is, "is it over heating"? it may not be a false alarm, just because you replaced all the bits does not mean it is not blocked up, thermostat stuffed or anything else.
