1977 115 and 85

i have a qeustion maybe someone can help i have a 115 and a 85 both 1977 johnsons will the bottom end of the block from the 85 fit the 115. i split the bottom block on the 115.

If they're not the XL model, the powerheads will swap - as a complete assembly.

i dont want to take the whole motor apart i just want to swap out the bootom end where the crank goes and the rods connect.

I'm still not exactly sure what you want to replace, so let's just describe the differences.

The Crank, Rods, and Rod bearings etc are the same. What's different is the bore size and the location of the ports. So, if you want to swap the cases, you won't be able to. If it's just the crankcase head you want to replace (part #0385502), that's the same.
