Sorry to add my querie to the multitude of others asking this question, but i really have searched everywhere else for this info to no avail.
I am an Aussie with a 25hp Mariner with tiller control, approx a 95 model - ser no. 0C271529.
I am trying to convert it from tiller to forward control, and obviously need this info. I would also appreciate very much if someone has a repair/workshop manual for same that they can email me a copy of.:)

Your engine is a 1990 U.S. built engine. Good luck on the rest.

You don't know what lengths i've gone to find that info.
Could you also advise an opinion on whether it is a good model or not, and whether there is anything i should be aware of with this motor?

Would you please assist me likewise with my Blue stripe 80hp Merc O/B #3192475? If I can't find this, how can I play? I can't even buy a manual without this! Thanks in advance.

Your motor is a late 1972 (possibly '73).
