1993 Sea-Ray 4.3L Merc. 2BBL Carb. I've been sorting out some ignition problems and I noticed that after cranking the engine for a few seconds, there is fuel dripping from the venturies for about 3 seconds after i quit cranking. Looks to me like the float is set to high or the needle valve is leaking fuel. Does that sound right?
Electric fuel pump BTW. Let me know if I'm missing something. I've done a lot with cars but this is my first boat and a definite learning experience.

What's the EFP rate of pressure?I think the normal 3-7# on a stock pump.
Float set too high might allow excess fuel out to low wouldn't allow enough in.Jerry
