1985 150 Stator Repair

How Hard is it to replace the stator? Can a guy do it himself or does it need to go to the shop? model #J150TLCOS

If you've got a harmonic balancer puller (removal) and a good torque wrench (re-assembly) you can do it yourself. It's a pretty easy job.
