I am getting a loud pitch alarm when I troll at low speed; when I throttle up it goes away after a few minutes and I don't notice any performance change. Only thing I notice is perhaps a little less exhaust water discharge from the rear of the engine - help!

When did you last change your impeller? Are you running in fresh or salt water?

Only had the boat 2yrs so never...running brackish water that borders salty (chesapeake bay) --- I do notice that I have a slight leak in the water line to the engine but not that much. the big deal is that there is virtually no water coming from the rear discharge so I bet you're right.
