Finally got some pics to post....

Here are a few pics of the work so far. Some of 'em are a bit old because I've not been on here for some time.


Here it is with the cap removed. Must've been 1000 screws holding it together. But they're all stainless so I'll reuse 'em.


A tractor with a hayfork is the only way to pull an engine!!!


Here is the hull after cleaning and cutting all the old 'glass and rot out. I left about an inch of the old 'glass in place where the stringers were. I'm gonna fill them with peanut butter and then put the stringers in place using the troughs as a guide. It'll also help to hold the wood vertical.

Here is the new transom. I haven't quite finished it at this point.


Here is a shot of a 2X2 piece I 'glassed to each side of the hull. I screwed eyebolts to each and used a ratchet strap to pull the hull into shape. When the floor is in I can remove the strap and the hull should maintain the proper width to accept the cap. That way my walk through will fit when I'm done.


Here is a shot of the new stringers (8ft of them any way) No 'glass on 'em yet. Gonna get bulkheads in place first.


OK fellas....Lemme have it! How am I doin so far? Suggestions at this point?
