Here are a few pics of the work so far. Some of 'em are a bit old because I've not been on here for some time.
Here it is with the cap removed. Must've been 1000 screws holding it together. But they're all stainless so I'll reuse 'em.
A tractor with a hayfork is the only way to pull an engine!!!
Here is the hull after cleaning and cutting all the old 'glass and rot out. I left about an inch of the old 'glass in place where the stringers were. I'm gonna fill them with peanut butter and then put the stringers in place using the troughs as a guide. It'll also help to hold the wood vertical.
