would this prop be worth balancing and recupping or would it be cheaper to buy one of the solas 4 blade props here for $130 or so.
2 of the blade were bent 1/4" out of line and i bent them back in so i could try it. runs but is out of balance and i'm sure i messed up the cup when i hammered on it.
where could i send it to from n. w. co. its about 250 or so miles, to either salt lake or denver.
how much would you guess it would cost?

Usually a marina could hook you up with a prop shop.
And your prop sure looks like it could be repaired.
It seems your a long way from any help. A good portion of the repair cost would be transportation/shipping.I'm no expert on the repair cost but I would think about $75 plus shipping. It would seem a new prop would be the way to go.If your happy with the prop try to get same brand and style.

thanks steelespike;
i was hoping someone from ut or co might see this and know of a good shop.
my next step will be to try and find a shop in grandjunction. thats about 160 miles or try offshore marina where we winter. thats at lake powell in ut. and its higher and more freight to get any thing in there so if they cant fix it there, i know i'd be better with an solas
