problem with 140hp chrysler motor

hi there im trying to get some feedback for my motor it runs great with no load but once in the water with a load it just dosent want to go i have put new spark plugs in it and checked the carbie its all clean but still no go anyone with any info please email me at

You are going to have to do a spark test and a compression test on each cylinder. Sounds like you are not firing on all cylinders. Pull plugs and usually the one with the clean tip is the culprit.

we have checked the spark and compression so thats all fine there someone told us it maybe the coil so dads going to get one of those and try that. it runs great until its in the water with a load and then just dosent want to pick up it runs but not like it should

i have just be told by dad said what seems to happen is it breaks down beofre it gets to reve up it will go down the river but wont pick up before it revs up it breaks down
