I haven't been using my boat that much this year.
About a month ago, when I attempted to pull away from the dock, it wouldn't shift into forward gear. Movement of the throttle control was very stiff. After rocking the shift handle back and forth for a while, I was eventually able to get it to move into forward gear, albeit difficult.
Last week, the attempt to leave the dock was a catastrophe. Shifting is very stiff. It will go into reverse, but won't go into forward gear. When I push the throttle forward, the motor increases RPMs, but won't go into forward gear.
I have very limited knowledge. Please help!
