Hi All:
I'm restoring a 1958 35hp Evinrude Lark and have been unable to find any color photos or illustrations of this motor. I know the basic colors, but there are chrome strips on the sides of the cowl that have "Evinrude" embossed in them. Just wondering if anyone knows what color the "Evinrude" should be?

Yea, http://www.nymarine.ca/ is a great site and also has great decals. They have a nice photo gallery of restored engines too, so you'll have a nice guide to work with.

Thanks! The http://old-omc.de/ site had an old color ad - not real clear but looks like the letters were in gold. Definitely not the red which I was going to paint them.
