Just recently did a tune up on my 97 merc 115HP. Changed the plugs out with what a local boat shop recommended, NGK BP8H-N-10. The boat runs alot better now but I'm getting engine noise through my VHF radio.
I've been doing some research and everyone has been telling me to change my plugs out to resistor type plugs. Does anyone have a cross referance for the plug I have for a resistor plug?
Aside from the resistor plug being more expensive, will I loose any performance or anything by changing to these? Or will it just kill the engine noise on the radio?
