No spark on upper cylinder. Wire coming from engine to a single pin connector has grounded out and arced on frame. This went through the insulation of the wire. I put tape on it, but was wondering if this could have caused my problem and destroyed something else. Any suggestions?

PS.. Plugs and wires are good.

completely swap the coils, and see it the no spark follow the coil, if so replace the coil. replace wire also.
