2004 300 Hpdi

I have a 2004 HPDI that has not been started for 9 months. Its been in storage for personal reasons. I had a complete tune up on it before I stored it. I`m ready to start it up again. What should I do first. I know the gas probably needs to be drained out. Any help please.

I would drain the VST and all the filters,use fresh fuel and start it.
if it does not start then test the VST pump. if it starts run it.
