1955 Goodyear Sea Bee. 026-3603 which is a 5D11G I only have a generic manual, but according to my manual there were two lu for these years. The direct drive and the f-n-r. With the fnr being the type where you have to pull the powerhead to unhook the shift linkage. I pulled the power head and did not find the disconnect that I though I would find. Dropped the lu and found a standard shift connector. Took the screw out and the lu came out. Was there a third lu for this year? I am parting out this motor as the power head is shot, but I am a bit hesitant to tell someone what this lower unit will fit until I know. Any ideas from the experts?

I believe there is a third type with only a neutral clutch.
The FNR Gale built motors use the regular disconnect you found.
Don't know what changes in the FNR may have occured through the years.
