Hoping someone can help me with a diaphram question.
I'm putting a fuel pump kit in my 82 Merc 50 with a Tillotson carb with an integral fuel pump.

I picked up a Sierra 18-7815 kit which is supposed to be the same as the Merc 1399-5137 kit.

The kit I have has 2 diaphrams. One is a brown synthetic like the one that came out of the pump but there is also an identical 1 made of rubber.

Quesstion is do I need both diaphrams?
If so what's the order?

thanks

Do not use the rubber check valve, only the brown one.
