I have a 60 lbs thrust motorguide, the problem is when I either stow the motor to run or use I have to manually push the slide pins into the slots to keep the trolling motor from slamming around. I tried to take it apart but the housing is on complete unit with the internals on the inside. I was wondering if anyone has fixed these things before and how or do I need to buy a new part, which I don't even know the name to.
