I have an old blue 15 Hp Fast twin with pressurized tank. There is a number on the inside of the cover-203739. Can anyone tell me the year? It runs well. Is it worth anything? thanks

Re: ID Old Envinrude

15014 = 1955
15016 = 1956

Pretty important to know which one you have as the 1955 has a known issue with its lower crankcase seal.

It is 15014! I have noticed that I need to add hypo oil to the lower uint every once in a while. Is there a fix for this problem??
Thanks

either new seals in the lower unit or new washers. Under the fill plugs are washers they should be changed when you change the lube. If not they will often leak.

Yup. You need a seal kit. I have yet to find an original 50's lower unit that didn't need to be resealed.

personally, if you are just having to add, and it is not getting intrusion, i would run it, and keep checking it.

As strange as it seems I concur with that idea!
