I picked up a 2007 Yamaha T8 Kicker yesterday from a guy for only $1000.00. It only has 20 hours on it and still has 2 years left on the warrenty. It has remote throttle control (I.E. You can work the trottle from anywhere you install it on your boat). It also has electric start and trim but it does not have a tiller handle. I went to go hook it up but I could not find any cables to hook it up to a battery?
Does anyone know if it is suppose to have cables or do you hook it up to the trottle control box some how? It has a lot of little wires coming out of the throttle control box but I thought they where for gauges and such.
Sounds like you're missing the cables.
At the very least, you'll need the battery cables that will connect the battery to the starter.
Time to either look on-line or go to the dealer to see what you'll need.

Thanks for the reply sdsaw.
I called the guy and he just forgot to give them to me. I'm suppose to go pick them up tonight. Now the next question would be why would someone take them off
