Re: selecting forward and reverse
When you say trouble accelerating forward or reverse, do mean the controls are hard to move ? Engine not going up in RPM ? If controls are hard to move did you go back to the transom and disconnect the throttle cable lever from thr shift plate and see if the throttle handle then moves freely . Is this a mercruiser ?
