I have a post in on my 1971 Kinner Bass boat project.17' fiberglass boat, front and rear wood decks withinner structure braces made of 1" aluminum L brackets.Wood decks are gelcoated 3/4 plywood,so I guess it is pretty heavy. It is getting a 1988 50 hp Mercury o/b w/tiller,Minkota Edge 55 w/tiller.1 20 gallon livewell.I called my local props plus guy and he was asking what rpm was at full throttle.Boat is'nt in the water yet,so, really I don't know.Does anyone have any ideas as to what prop I need, according to the info given. Thanks for any information

Get the prop size and max rpm and speed when you get it in the water,
really the only way to get an accurate prop selection.Be sure to fine tune the setup(vertical height)and trim before giving us your specs.
