I have a Mercury 125 that when idling has a knocking sound. What can I do to stop this? Also at 2000 RPMs the engine misses. Runs good other than that.

What year is your motor? The first thing that comes to mind is out of time setting at idle or a faulty coil. How does it do coming out of the hole?
