Oil in coolant

I am having oil get in the coolant. There is some white smoke coming out... some steam, but smells like burnt oil, though not a bluish tint. They are 1983 chevy gm crusader 220 gas engines. The boat does not over heat. I took out the thermostat and the engine runs about 140 degrees. The coolant is mostly water, though I added some 50/50 coolant / antifreeze.... The head gaskets were replaced and since then the problem has begun. The heads were serviced, and compression was restored. Also, the coolant/water from the heat exchanger seems to be getting out of the cap. Any offerings?

If you're blowing the heat exchanger cap, you have compression getting into the coolant.

Possibly a botched head gasket job.
