Ihave 40hp Force outboard motor. The serial number is OE046209. can anyone tell me the year? thanks woodbutcher.

According to mercruiserparts.com 1992 started with 000001 and 1994 ended with 093699. I would guess yours to be mid 1993 but this is only a guess. There may be a place on here that will tell you for sure.
