hey guys i have a 1985 force 125 outboard , i had a piston replaced in it about a month and a half ago due to the impeller failing,(overheating)the rings stuck in the piston ,i had the piston replaced and the cylinder honed and it was back and running again ,it had about 2 hours of run time on it and the piston failed again ,it didnt overheat this time but same thing the rings stuck in the piston ,so this time i fixed it ,i got a new weisco piston and rings,rist pin and bearings and new rod bearings,i used assembly lube and 2 stroke oil to reinsall everything,now when it was fixed the first time ,a used piston and rings were installed and the origional bearings were reused and the break in period was not followed ,could that be why the piston failed or is it another problem,this time i will follow the break in period
