I have a 2004 90hp Johnson 4 stroke. The problem is when you take off "WOT" the motor feels sluggish. Only able to get about 4500 rpm's. And then after about a minute or less it feels as if something gives way and the rpm's shoot up to about 6000 and the boat feels as if it is running like it is suppose to and will stay that way untill you stop and take off again.
Could one of my injectors be clogged???

PS: this does this whether I am full throttle or pulling my kid on the tube. I will leave the throttle in one place and it will pick up rpm's automatically.
