1. Crestliner brochures up to 1964 are at
www.fiberglassics.com. If they don't have your brochure, it may be a tough one. You can watch for one on ebay, though...there are several sellers of such things, and one will probably turn up at some point.
2. I have pieces of indoor/outdoor carpeting cut for the gaps between the seats in my old Starcraft 12' boat. I just lay them in, without glue or anything. When they get filthy with fish guts and the like, I just pull em out and hose them off.
3. I bought a set of horizontal rod holders for mine. They work OK, but rods are still a hassle in small boats, and they're sort of in the way at the dock at the ramp. It always seems like the rods are on the side in need to get out of. I also have a PVC holder for three rods, which are in the vertical position. It was cheap, at about $15. That's what I use most of the time, including trailering for short distances. Space is always a problem in small aluminum boats.
4. No canopy on mine. I saw another aluminum boat at the lake this summer. The guy had drilled a seat and installed an adjustable umbrella of the type used on patio tables. Looked silly, but he was in the shade while I was getting a sunburn on my ears.
